Volunteers

Merrimack Valley Hospice offers many meaningful volunteer opportunities.  Volunteers come from all walks of life, with varied experiences and skills.  Each share the desire to make a difference through their presence – a true gift to our hospice patients and families.  Volunteers work in private homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the Merrimack Valley, Southern New Hampshire and York County, Maine as well as at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA. Other volunteers donate their time and talent helping in the administrative offices, on special projects or assist at fundraising events.

All volunteers receive specialized training and ongoing education, much like our clinical staff, as they are critical members of the hospice team.
