Benefits you will love

Homecare is an opportunity for conversation, connection, and change. As a social worker for the VNA I feel privileged to be able to sit with patients in their homes. When you work in homecare, you quickly learn that patients homes are windows into who they are and how they live…. The homecare setting and all the information it offers the clinician provides the greatest opportunity for conversation, connection and change. We hope that patients feel less ill, less pain, more comfort, and are living a better quality of life then when we first walked through the front door.
Johanna
Social Worker
What I love most about working in hospice is having the ability to make patients feel comfortable. To give patients the dignity, respect, care and most important the compassion that they deserve.
Melanie
Hospice Nurse
I love working here since I see I can make a difference for patient and co-workers.
My job is not a job for me it’s an honor. Being an advocate for my patients and know that I am making a difference for them in their lives and they know that I am here for them and help them and make certain things easier for them and know they always have me to call for any needs and know they are not alone.
Evelyn
Care Transition Coach
As a home health nurse I respect each person’s home while thoughtfully and gently making suggestions to improve the patients’ health and environment…I provide the knowledge and tools to empower my patient to manage their own care and they are able to teach back to me what they have learned. When a home health clinician comes into the patient’s home we are a breath of fresh air that provides something that everyone needs; hope. Being able to provide this for a patient in need is truly priceless.
