Team Lead of Insurance Verification

The Team Lead of Insurance Verification is responsible for timely and accurate completion of all insurance verification. The Team Lead also provides direction and guidance to team members. Responsible for the reporting associated with scheduled eligibility checks. Other responsibilities include monitoring progress and managing the schedule which may include members from the Accounts Receivable and Utilization Review teams. May occasionally need to contact the referral source, patient or responsible party to obtain information needed to complete the verification.
Required Education and Experience
Experience with Healthcare Eligibility Verification and/or Accounts Receivable/Utilization Review
Supervisory/management experience preferred
Ability to read/write and communicate in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to function well in very busy situations.
Responsible and reliable.
Good organization skills.
