Home Health VNA Occupational Therapists provide rehabilitative and therapeutic care and services to patients in their homes, in accordance with physician referral. Patients benefit from occupational therapy when a task or activity has become difficult and must be modified because of changes in the patient's condition. Patients recovering from stroke or traumatic brain injury, patients who need to conserve their energy, or patients at high risk of falls, can benefit from occupational therapy. Occupational Therapists help our patients increase their participation in daily activities.
Bachelor degree along with 1-3 years Occupational Therapy experience
OT Licensure in the state of Massachusetts and New Hampshire
CPR certification required
Current knowledge of OASIS and Medicare A guidelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient organizational skills
