She goes about her work quietly and with great attention to detail, completely focused on each task and the needs of her clients. Her kind, caring and warm manner makes her clients feel instantly comfortable and reassured. She has wonderful communication skills and can articulate client concerns in a straightforward and effective manner. Above all, her patients and colleagues love Janepher. Recently, one of her colleagues shared, “She is just so good. It is wonderful to be around her when she is caring for a patient. I really admire her.”

Madeline Cardenales

Home Health Foundation is pleased to nominate Madeline Cardenales for the 2020 Virtual Home Care Worker Recognition Day.

Madeline is an extremely dedicated care partner who is passionate about the care she provides to patients. She currently works from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., which is a very busy shift. Despite the new challenges that all caregivers have seemingly encountered on a daily basis during this unprecedented time, she has maintained an admirably positive attitude throughout the pandemic. Recently, one of her colleagues shared, “Madeline has always been willing to help in the COVID unit when needed. Her role has become especially critical since end-of-life patients who also have COVID-19 deserve all the best we have to offer – which is what Madeline has always been relied on to provide to her patients and colleagues alike.”

Madeline is deeply respected for her compassionate, expert caregiving duties. Home Health Foundation is proud to honor Madeline for this notable recognition.


Marriannys Zabala

Home Health Foundation is pleased to nominate Marriannys Zabala for the 2020 Virtual Home Care Worker Recognition Day.

It is immediately evident to all who meet Mariannys that she is a responsible, caring and warm person. She has an inviting smile that earns patients’ trust even before they have a chance to be further impressed by her detailed care, gentle reassurances and overall nurturing manner. In addition, Mariannys is a true team player who works well with others and takes initiative. She has worked in both the COVID and non-COVID unit as needed, while doing her best to help in any other way she can. Recently, one of her colleagues shared, “Mariannys is always looking out for the best interest of our patients, whom she treats with dignity and respect. The importance and skill of doing so cannot be overstated.”
