5th Annual Legacy of Leading benefit dinner raises more than $80,000 for Home Health Foundation

VNA_Dinner315Lawrence, Mass. – On Thursday, April 7, 2016 more than 250 guests gathered in support of the agencies of Home Health Foundation, and to honor several leaders in the community at the 5th annual Legacy of Leading recognition dinner. Honored were Mark and Susan Cocozza, community philanthropists, and Dr. Lane Glenn, President of Northern Essex Community College. Mark and Susan were recognized for their commitment to quality healthcare and their on-going support of Merrimack Valley Hospice and the Hospice House. Lane was acknowledged for his advocacy for education and community services and his tireless efforts to ensure the Merrimack Valley has a well-trained healthcare workforce now and in the future.

“As friends and partners in our work, Mark and Susan Cocozza and Lane Glenn enable our organization to better serve patients and families with the quality care they deserve,” said John Albert, President and CEO of Home Health Foundation, which includes Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice and HomeCare, Inc. “Both shared stories of how they were touched by the agencies of Home Health Foundation which deepened their commitment to the critical work that we do.”

The event raised more than $80,000 in support of programs dedicated to assisting the patients and families served by Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice and HomeCare, Inc.
