I am writing again to thank you for sending such lovely people out to my home after surgery. To be able to have the same great care that I received after my first hip replacement is a wonderful thing. Sharon is absolutely the best, funny and caring. Going on walks outdoors was the nicest part of all.
I am extending special praise to my home care nurse, Julie, whose services were extraordinary. She was very knowledgeable, super professional, courteous, respectful, supportive and caring. Julie always arrived with a positive attitude and a smile, attending to my medical needs to promote my recovery and comfort. You should be proud to have Julie on your staff and I feel grateful to have her as my primary nurse.
With your emotional support for the family and medical knowledge, we were able to grant my husband’s wish to be home for his final days. For that we are most grateful. Everyone at York Hospital Hospice played a very important role during a very difficult time. Words cannot express how much we appreciate your support and contributions to a pain-free and comfortable journey’s end for my husband.

I would like to recognize some very important people who nursed me back to health after surgery. My Home Health VNA nurse, and physical and occupational therapists were so quick to start my road to recovery and they stuck with me for 3 months. They were funny, helpful, caring, and made me feel important, as well as comfortable. Each one of them deserves a GOLD star! I am forever thankful and grateful.
High Pointe House is filled with “angels on earth”. From the minute we entered the front door to the day my husband, Ed, passed away, we were treated with the highest level of respect and compassion, allowing me to spend time with Ed as his wife while the nurses and aides cared for his medical needs. We are so grateful for sharing Ed’s last days in a “home” full of love.
Jill has been my Physical Therapist since I came home from rehab in December. She was a godsend to me. After my knee replacement, I never thought I would be able to raise my right leg again. Jill was very patient and kind (I wasn’t a very good client!) and she got me through this painful ordeal. You are lucky to have this very caring young woman working for you. She is a credit to her profession.

My family and I want to thank you for the support and care of our mother during her last few months. As her primary caregiver, I especially appreciate your continued advice and readiness to listen to my concerns. Your involvement in planning and executing Mom’s care made her passing easier on all of us. She died as she wanted, quietly in her sleep, at home. Thank you again for your role in Mom’s care.

I know Cheryl has been a home health aide for years, yet every day she comes to the house brimming with energy. She is an inspiration and a huge help. She takes care of the big things as well as the small details that are so important - around the house and as part of my day.

I would like to thank the staff at Merrimack Valley Hospice House for the amazing care of my father. My family and I are highly impressed with the nursing staff. Amy and Justin are incredible; they informed us with every change and stayed with us until the end of my father’s journey. My father deserved the best of care and that’s what the Hospice House provided him. We cannot thank you enough.

Just completed home PT with Tanya and wanted to share my positive feedback. Despite hip replacement, doing PT with her at my home was awesome! She has a great personality, very personable and professional, not to mention very patient and positive throughout the home PT process. Recovery was made much easier for these reasons!
My family and I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the HomeCare crew at Heritage House… our mother was a very private and independent woman. It was not easy for her to accept help. Thanks to the crew of your dedicated people, she remained independent until, at the age of 93, she passed away at home… Just knowing that our mother was in trusted hands, provided a tremendous comfort to her family near and far.
